Taking bets: Will Mary Bono last until Monday as the new interim president

of USA Gymnastics? So USA Gymnastic wants to muzzle their athletes? Not too bright considering what they just went through with Nasser. Tone deaf and downright stupid.

I'm surprised she still goes by Bono seeing as she's had three marriages since his death. Love to hear what Cher would think of this.

He worked hard at being taken seriously after he was elected to Congress. This kind of stunt is demeaning. So glad she was voted out of office. All I remember from her time in Congress after she took over Sonny’s seat was her complaining at a congressional hearing that she couldn’t find the furbies her kids wanted for Christmas.

Sonny Bono wasn't my favorite politician - and I'm glad he never got past the primaries for senator - but I have to give him credit for starting his career in local politics before going on to the House.
