General Discussion

We have had to move to metro Cincinnati to be nearer extended family. We are old and childless. My dear nieces have worked hard to help us as they can, but the 3-4 hrs round trip with work, raising families etc is just a lot to ask. So we moved to the same general part of town they live. Grateful for the help, in order to make it easier on everyone.
We managed to get it all done in time to register to vote in our new district. Our registration cards came in yesterday's mail.
Another win is being able to vote for Mr. Pureval. No one is perfect, but in my opinion he'll make a fine representative that will do us proud.
I will also be able to vote for Sherrod Brown.
Life is good.

(8,361 posts)It seems many were dropped.
McTigue called the hearing as a "decisive victory" because a portion of the complaint was dismissed.
"The Ohio Elections Commission dropped half of the charges against Aftab Pureval. Those charges were frivolous and motivated by politics. We've said all along that Aftab acted legally and appropriately and we look forward to resolving the remaining questions with the commission, he said.
Pureval and Chabot are running to represent Ohio's 1st Congressional District, which covers Cincinnati's West Side, parts of suburban Hamilton County and Warren County.
