Forecasters warn Texas residents of floodwaters as body reportedly found

orecasters tweeted warnings about major flooding along the Llano River in Texas. "Seek higher ground!" the National Weather Service tweeted.

The river at the city of Llano crested late Tuesday morning at about 40 feet, the National Weather Service said. "A secondary crest in major flood stage is expected Wednesday morning," it tweeted.

A bridge over the Llano River in the city of Kingsland collapsed Tuesday due to floodwaters, CBS Austin reported. A Texas Department of Public Safety told the station a body was found in Burnet County related to flooding.

A flash flood warning was in effect for Llano, Fredericksburg and Kingsland until 3:30 p.m. local time. Forecasters urged those living in vulnerable and low-lying areas along the river to seek higher ground immediately.
