Lara Trump Says More Women Will Vote Republican Due To ‘Kavanaugh Effect’

In an interview on Fox, the wife of Eric Trump said conservative women were “frustrated” by the Supreme Court confirmation process.

By Alanna Vagianos

Lara Trump thinks more women are “inspired” to vote for Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections because of the “Kavanaugh effect.”

“After what I like to call the Kavanaugh effect ... the number of women that I think are more inspired on the Republican end now to get out and vote is really astonishing,” Lara Trump, wife to President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump, told Fox News host Shannon Bream during a Wednesday evening segment.

Lara Trump, who’s currently campaigning across the country for the president, said the confirmation of Supreme Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh, despite allegations of sexual assault or misconduct, has galvanized women to vote Republican.

“I’ve found women coming up to me telling me how frustrated they were with [with the confirmation process], how much it makes them want to go out and vote for Republicans,” Lara Trump continued.

She said her friends, who were mothers with boys, felt Kavanaugh could have been their sons so they are going to keep those "awful man hating Democrats" out of office. I hate to think it but she may be right about at least some Republican women, Fox and 45 is doing a lot to keep those fires burning.

in Dr. Brown's situation, and felt lucky that they got out of that situation in one piece, when it could have ended much worse. First you feel relieved that you weren't raped and then you feel guilty that you might have done something to lead this guy on. As someone who went to an all girls school, I've heard my fare share of these situations, but back in my day, (I'm 60 now), no one I knew had the guts to report this as a sexual assault. They felt that they may have some responsibility for leading a guy on because they kissed him. These days; hopefully, girls are smart enough to know that NO means NO. They know that because they may have hugged a guy, danced with a guy, kissed a guy, that doesn't mean that they consented to intercourse with that guy, or to sexually assaulted by that guy. Parents need to talk to their children, both their sons and daughters. You can't assume that they know these things, and a lack of knowledge can impact them for a lifetime.

out on it when they try to sell this nonsense, especially coming from other women. My only consolation is that the Trump women, hopefully, don't have any more credibility than the Trump men.

More Democrats and Independents WILL be voting -- for democratic candidates -- because of Republican tactics during the Kavanaugh confirmation. Republicans are outnumbered.

Women who may have been planning to sit this one out because of vile Trump. There are probably some out there, the ones who would attend a Lara Trump event, but I doubt it is anything like the women who are mobilized on our side after that disgusting nomination.

Women seem to be more outraged that Kavanaugh was confirmed, not to mention the fact that our President openly mocked Dr. Ford's testimony. But whatever. I can't imagine most women being upset that the confirmation process was difficult and contentious.

Women may be coming up to her saying that.

Problem is, anyone who would come up to the wife of Uday Trump is a full blown Deplorable. The odds of a random woman on the street coming up to anyone complaining about the raw deal Brett Kavanaugh got is low indeed.
