...considering I get 3-4 panicky doom’n’gloom e-mails from her campaign per day, each literally begging for help because they’re losing. Not the most effective fundraising approach, if you ask me.

If the email said that she was clearly ahead, people would be less inclined to donate and would give their money to a candidate who has a tougher election.

To say Rosen has a lead is disengenuous...but, I rather be 2 ahead than behind
