I had on the last presidential election. I went to bed, CERTAIN that Hillary had won (which she HAD) Got up next morning to disasterous news, which gets worse by the day. I hope someone is watching the gop and the Russian hackers. We can not survive much longer with the gop making all the rules in their favor. They are so blatant with their treason, it is frightening.

the other side doesn't want us to vote and bend over backwards to implement voter suppression laws in Republican-controlled swing states.

They obviously think our votes matter.

This election has taken on so much importance.
To stop 45 in his incessant insane policy making.
To take the House.
To take the Senate back.
To take the country back from going down.

But I'm going to fortify myself on November 6 with some good Irish -- to open up a direct channel of prayerful pleading with the Creator -- and then hide under a blanket (timid, cowardly s.o.b. that I am) until the results are in.

(Interesting to note that Sulu worked for a Starship Captain who actually cared -- albeit in a somewhat overacting way -- for humanity and, in fact, all intelligent life forms. If only our current world seemed pointing in that direction. What a wonderful world, as Mr. Cooke reminds us, it would be!)
