(86,775 posts)I voted for all Democratic candidates skipped the couple local races I don't know much about (only three, a county commissioner, a judge and some other that I can't recall.)
I also voted FOR the two really controversial initiatives, one requiring mining operations to clean up after themselves... no new permits unless a clean up plan is produced and approved. And one that creates a tobacco tax to help fund Medicaid. there were two others, one I didn't have a good feel about so I didn't vote on that initiative.
I feel good about keeping our one Democratic Senator and hope we can get rid of our one House Rep., the body slammer. He and our other senator are former high tech business partners who weaseled their way into office on teaparty wave, Daines did, Gianforte has been running for a while and only won by cheating, as did Daines.
Hope we can get rid of both even though Daines is in for another two ro four years... unless he is thrown in prison with the rest of the cabal when they get arrested.

(4,220 posts)as to not make any error. I have never been so motivated to vote in a midterm in my life. I remember jumping out of bed in 2016 to vote for HRC, wishing I could get away with taking a picture of the checked screen. That seems like an eternity ago. I have to keep up my faith for Nov 6.
