they've been working on this for 40 years or more. now they've built a media marketing machine of unparalleled power and reach.

they attack with short, pithy, and easily-remembered lies.

we fight back with lengthy explanatory statements very few will take time to understand.

the outcome is entirely unsurprising.

They just spent two days tussling over a baseless lie by that man. If he says one of them is carrying Hillary's emails, it might be on the front pages for weeks.
