After Trump saying he is a nationalist, is the rumor that he kept Hitler's speeches by his bed true?

“You know, they have a word. It sort of became old-fashioned. It’s called a nationalist. And we’re not supposed to use that word.

You know what I am? I’m a nationalist, OK? I’m a nationalist.

Nationalist. Use that word. Use that word.”

--President Donald J. Trump; 10/22/18

His brainwashed followers responded with chants of: “USA! USA! USA!”

At least Donald isn’t in the closet anymore.

After attacking the free press, inciting violence against political opponents and journalists, scapegoating immigrants by calling them “rapists,” using the propaganda rhetoric of “America First,” stripping LGBTQ citizens of rights, voter suppression and intimidation, saying Nazi’s are “fine people” in Charlottesville, demonizing Muslims and Mexicans by comparing them to animals, anti-intellectualism, requiring false patriotism by saying we can’t kneel during the national anthem (restricting free-speech), saying Muslims should wear special ID badges, proposing a “deportation force,” and putting children in concentration camps, it is becoming very clear Donald wants to become the new Adolf Hitler.

The rumor that Donald kept Hitler’s speeches by his bed seems to be true. Donald is using the exact same propaganda tactics and wants to see how far he can take his Hitler 2.0 act.

Are we going to fall for it? Will history repeat itself?

Remember: Hitler was elected without the majority vote of the citizens. Donald lost the popular vote by 3 million votes.

Hillary — screw the media.

We need you to point all of this out in the style only you know how to do: direct, articulate, succinct, and powerful. From someone with an air of authority and strength.

Slam this wannabe-dictator and his bigot minions before it’s too late.

It's not really a rumor. His ex-wife said this was true and that he read it every night. Liberty Belle Oct 2018 #1
I recall that it was his first wife, Marla Maples, who made that observation. n/t Eyeball_Kid Oct 2018 #2

Trump tried to claim it wasn't Hitler speeches, but rather Mein Kampf (still troubling) and he claimed a Jewish friend gave it to him. The Jewish friend later told media this was a lie, that he never gave Trump the book.

It was Ivanna (mother of the reptilian sons) who was the 1st wife and said that he had Hitler's speeches by the bed. It would be interesting if Maples said that he continued that with her, but I don't think she's given dirt on him like Ivana did. Ivana also claimed that he raped her while screaming that he was in pain from his scalp reduction surgery and blaming her for referring the surgeon to him.

Ivanna Trump's lawyer revealed that she had told him about it and it was reported in a 1990 Vanity Fair article. I think the fact that he studied the rhetoric for decades with the goal of how learning how to influence people with it is more disturbing than if he'd read Mein Kampf.
