There is a good article by Robert Reich in Truthdig where he says that Trump has set a trap for us. Trump has made everything about him. Just like when W. stood on the rubble of the World Trade Center and proclaimed, you're either with us or against us. In other words, when W. (Cheney) decided to invade Iraq the choice was an either or. You are either for the U.S. or for the terrorists, there should be no debate about the rationale for the actual invasion and aftermath.

Trump is basically doing the same thing, you are either for him or against him, no debate about health care, or logical thinking about building a border wall, or debates about tax policy or education are necessary. Trump, like Bush, is the Decider, his word is gospel, not to be criticized. You are either for Trump or against Trump, how simple, no intellect is needed, the dumbest person on the planet can carry on that debate.

Read Reich's column, er, those who still believe in critical thinking, read it.

While it would be difficult to find a more disgusting figurehead for the absolute worst aspects of American society, if this idiot didn't exist it would just be someone else. Hell, I'd say about 3/4 of what he says and does is just in response to the fascist-enabling bullshit propaganda spewed out by Fox News. His persona has been crafted over many years, designed to appeal to exactly his base, who have been groomed to accept this kind of "leader" for just as long.

People keep saying he will bring about our decline and demise. They are wrong, we are already there.

sunday makes them good people. One person I know was married for 15 years, had 2 children. He had an affair with another woman and since he contributes to the Catholic Church he was granted an annulment so he could marry his mistress in the church. These people have no shame.
