It’s very easy to send packages for simultaneous (?) delivery in east coast urban and suburban areas.

But my sense is this still very well organized and timed and involves more than one person - possibly a small group of people, even if 2-3 who planned this out.

My dad was in criminal intelligence for over 35 years and without giving details, because his expertise was in terrorism and bombs, I had enough conversations with him over the decades in which he would discuss scenarios and methods, that my early sense based on this is that this involves more than one person.

You could be correct, a super organized brilliant person could have done this all on their own.

But if its a Trumphole, that alone disqualifies them as being brilliant....

I have on occasion mulled over how I might do something bad, and sometimes I'm astonished that real terrorists haven't thought about the things I've thought of. I am not the kind of person who would do those things, and they do involve getting ahold of devices I have no idea how to get ahold of, but would probably be easy to research. Which means I take comfort in the apparent incompetence and lack of imagination of the truly bad guys.

Sometimes however crazy bad guys can still cause damage and harm....in the US and the easy access of weapons makes that possible too...

One other area I got comfort from my father is on the possibility of "dirty bombs" being used....the reality is that handling the materials that would be used would likely kill the bad guys alone in their handling and they wouldn't be very successful, especially with all the radiation detection devices. Its fortunately not like the movies and tv shows describe when they show some terrorist plot involving a dirty bomb.

Poisons and radioactive poisoning (ala Russian style) is more likely and I am sure that the Secret Service and security details for all these people and news rooms are taking this very seriously.

I have long thought that the hysterical fear of things like dirty bombs is overblown, but I am not any kind of expert.

Time for the media to condemn and then boycott the Con and his goons.
