Honestly it reads like a Breitbart comments section. Bomb threats are terrifying, but random militia men aren't out knocking on doors, asking if you're a Dem and shooting! We all should know by now that Trump and the right will spin this to be about them, we need to unite against them, not each other.

I've notice an uptick in removed posts lately. I think we have an increase in sensitivity with the upcoming election. Throwing in mail bombs just amplifies everything.

I think is overreacting, IMHO.

We have over 300 million guns in this country already and it didn't stop these thugs from attempting the bombings anyways. Way too early to ID those responsible for the bombs, and besides, 'arming' oneself per this original post by biggermanguy isn't obviously the solution, and won't address the root cause (could be someone who is just nuts or mentally disturbed, we don't know).

Personally, I agree w/ you on the rhetoric though...a little much and not needed...and I think most of us already defend ourselves and families quite well w/o the additional rhetoric and histrionics expressed by biggermanguy.

Triggering a detonation is harder than an idiot making a pipe bomb would think. That's why so many IED's are burning fuse initiated.

Getting the chemicals and components needed to make a small device properly shock to detonate is not that simple.
