David Fahrenthold Retweeted:INTERESTING: President TRUMP, who hasn't contributed a penny to his campaign since taking office, pledges in a fundraising email to "match" $3M worth of grassroots donations to his campaign ahead of the midterms. Yet another first for a sitting president in the modern era.

UPDATE: The TRUMP campaign tells me that @POTUS is NOT going to donate any of his own $ to his campaign, despite emailing donors asking them to "make a contribution of $5 … & I will MATCH it dollar-for-dollar."
Apparently that refers to him transferring DONOR $ to the RNC.
