The fed rate was at 0 because of the recession, not anything to do with Obama.
The Fed is independent in its rate setting, something that Trump doesnt understand.

Perhaps it would be more effective to you if I also laid over the deficit charts from the 1990s and 2010s.
The significance is the presidential economic policies, diplomacy, statesmanship in government matters, even with the independence of the Fed.

And at the time they said they would continue raising them ever quarter or so. Other than known history I am not sure what the graph means.
