They were talking about how strongly drumpf condemned the bomber(s) and about how he will not tolerate this attack and that no one was blaming him or his followers after his super strong speech. I gagged and turned it off. I actually watched the speech later on (which I almost never do) and it was so extremely obvious he didn't mean one single thing and actually was irritated that he had to read someone elses' words from the teleprompter. He was just aching to blame the Dems and media but had been threatened into just reading the speech Kelly or Ivanka wrote. So this am he blames the media and threatens them. His bombs weren't doing enough so he had to make it more clear, he's still coming after them (and us, but the election is too soon so he didn't want to let that much truth out until afterwards).

I immediately noticed the swarms of far-right lunatics flooding every thread on social media, posting awful things to comments sections...then there were the more mainstream conservatives in their midst. I confronted those people, telling them that they were morally obligated to call out and condemn such viewpoints. They always refused. These people are still in the comments sections and on Facebook thinking they're a normal conservative, and they purposely IGNORE all of the far-right posts.

They are all responsible for this. It's coming from their side, and the right from the bottom to the top has REFUSED to acknowledge the extremism and the dangers in the emotional rhetoric coming from Trump. They are guilty of these attacks as much as the perpetrator or perpetrators. There is no excuse for refusing to condemn the far right, especially since it's right in front of them.

And they also like to pretend that far-right groups like the Proud Boys and 4Channers don't support Trump.

Some are even switching to Democrat.

One of them posted a FUX article about the bomb targeting Soros and his little buddies yukked it up. I'm sure they high-fived each other over the bomb targeting the Clintons as well. Good riddance.

If you look at what has happened elsewhere with these groups violence is always showing up. The gop is dead now, and they are all white nationalists now instead. None of them are die hard Trump fans. They are all women. One woman posted about how terrible yesterdays events were. She seemed bothered that some other people she knows of didn't seem to think the terrorist attacks were all that terrible. She was the only one of my Facebook friends to directly mention it in a personal post. I don't have many Facebook friends. She doesn't like Trump because she doesn't think he demonstrates good Christian values. The 2nd Republican friend clearly dislikes Trump because she stated it just a couple days ago. I saw she posted on a local news article about how she thinks Trump is hypocrite in response to his rally speech last night. She even posted she's taking a social media break because she can't stand all the nasty politics going on. I'm not seeing it. It's people she is friends with. The 3rd friend pretty much doesn't care about politics all that much. She never posts politics. Anyhow, two out the three republican friends actually spoke up about it. Some republicans are shitty than others. I've only kept the ones I could tolerate as friends.
