Is this really surprising from the network that brought you hard hitting reporting from Laura Ingraham that joked about how dumb the bombs look, how it was good for sympathy on the Democratic side so it was probably a false flag. Now I know why they are banned in other countries.
The free press in my opinion does not mean that blatant lies should be allowed. A differing opinion sure, but label it as such. Stop trying to pass this shit off as fact!
After edit: They are also calling them political stickers, and fumbling over their words in trying to describe it.

(54,436 posts)They did not pursue a German language channel in Germany. First of all, laws prohibiting Nazi propaganda are still on the books here, and they are enforced. Even while claiming not to be Nazi or Nazi-inspired, any Fox Germany channel would have a new legal challenge thrown at it on a daily basis, and any one of them ending in victory for the anti-Fox side would make them have to shut down here.
So, while there is not a specific "no Fox" law here, the existing laws that are on the books now would have been enough to shut down their programs within hours. Murdoch is nothing is not an astute businessman. He wasn't going to wast a hundred million dollars setting up an operation that would have been declared illegal within hours of its first broadcast--even if he did find Germans willing to have their faces on national TV forever associated with the disseminating of neo-Nazi propaganda.

(108,994 posts)If any of them had been workable, this could have been so much worse, with so many explosive devices floating through the system.
One of the reasons to not make a workable bomb is that a lot of bombers wind up blowing themselves up in the process. I'd bet the likelihood of this guy making a functional bomb without blowing himself up before getting anywhere with it is low.
If only he had tried a little harder, he might have been a self-solving problem.
