He can be in a restaurant and have someone yell mean things at him.
He can hold a bomb made by a political opponent.

Hugh would not dare go on Chris Hayes, Rachel, Don Lemon, and even Shep Smith and get away with that.

Another right wing talking point that pissed me off is the "equivalent" Bernie supporter who shot Scalese. Cable news anchors sit there and let that talking point go unchallenged.

Did you see that Chris Wallace and Shep Smith got in an on air argument. I worry about Shep's days at Fox. He is the only anchor at Fox who I believe is sincere.

If Fox dumps him, he'll get picked up by another network in about 2 nanoseconds. And he will leave with his integrity intact.

Orwell's 1984 had a Ministry of Truth (not about truth) but no Minister. Eichenwald could be a real Minister of Truth against this Orwellian nightmare we're living through.
