Trump Slams 'Crooked Hillary' at Rally as Crowd Chants 'Lock Her Up' Days After Bomb Was Sent to Her

Days after a pipe bomb was sent to Hillary Clinton, and hours after Donald Trump called for a return to civility, the president slammed his 2016 competitor at a campaign rally as his crowd chanted “lock her up.”

Trump bashed Clinton as part of a diatribe against Democratic opposition to his border wall:

“Many of these Democrats — almost all of them, including Schumer, including Crooked Hillary, including everybody — many of these Democrats approved the wall in 2006,” he said.

The mention of Clinton drew loud boos from the crowd, followed by chants of “Lock her up!” Trump smiled, saying “Oh boy, they’re going to be reporting about you tonight,” and pointing at the media.

Earlier at the rally, Trump slammed the media for causing the incivility that led to an apparent Trump fan allegedly mailing pipe bombs to 12 of the president’s outspoken critics, including CNN. On Friday night, the crowd engaged in raucous “CNN sucks” chants.

So, per usual Trump blames in on this fans---ignoring that he started the chant by saying Crooked Hillary-- then pisses on the media for reporting it. Just all in fun for the idiot!

the most disturbing thing I've read here this morning at DU.

To think that, after ALL of the nonsense we've witnessed this week, that there can even be TWO people shout that - it leaves me terrified for the future of our country!

Can you imagine THESE people being the "Fathers of Our Country?" What kind of constitution would they have created?

We MUST change the course - we MUST GET OUT THE VOTE!

Truly, our country's future depends on it!
