"Good guys with guns . . . "

Whenever people on the right hit back with the "good guys with guns" argument, shouldn't the next question be -- "Do you want synagogues and churches to have armed guards?" Do we need armed guards in restaurants and movie theaters? Do we need them everywhere? Do we all need to have a gun to walk around in America? Is that the country we want to live in?

Even in the "Wild West", when you entered the town, you had to turn your guns over to the sheriff. No one seems to remember that. And the REASON we did that was because we didn't want to ALWAYS be armed and ALWAYS be looking over our shoulder and scanning every room we enter to see if there are any dangerous people.

"Good guys with guns" is a STUPID idea.
