11 dead

Including 4 injured cops.

Suspect taken alive.

Thank goodness he didn’t jaywalk or try to sell singles or he could have been killed.

I believe that all of the police survived with a varying degree of severity of wounds. It sounded like one of the civilians is very seriously wounded so the count could go up.

I've seen 11 dead, six wounded, including two survivors in the synagogue and four officers.

And it's a little unclear, but apparently the gunman was shot repeatedly, and the police took him into custody because of that, not that he dropped his weapons or anything similar.
