Texas voting machines are changing votes For Beto O'Rourke To Ted Cruz

Voters are reporting that some voting machines in Texas are changing some straight-ticket Democratic votes for Rep. Beto O’Rourke to votes for Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.

KTRK in Houston, Texas reported:
Voters are reporting odd problems on both the Republican and Democratic side of straight-party voting in Texas.
Mickey Blake was one of the voters in those early voting lines in Houston earlier this week.
“I hit straight Democratic ticket,” Blake said.
She says she expected all Democrats to come up on her screen, especially Rep. Beto O’Rourke, but when she got to the last screen to review her choices, she noticed a problem.

“It’s all Democratic except for Ted Cruz was checked,” Blake said.

This is really messed up!!!!
The problem is when people vote straight Dem ticket. If they vote straight repuke ticket it leaves the senate race blank.

The secretary of state's office said the issues were not caused by the voting machines, but by voters themselves! No, it is not! It is the machines!

It's how I voted - I enjoy selecting the Democratic candidate each and every time...

It probably wouldn't occur to me to double-check that "D" means "All-Ds".

They know perfectly well what they are doing, and this comes as no surprise whatsoever to the Texas State Government.

Texas Republicans doing business as usual, from Abbott on on down. He deserves ten years to life for his "job" as Texas governor.

There is time enough to troubleshoot these machines and correct any vote switching problems.

The fact that they are not looking into this reported problem and determining how it is happening suggests that these machines were hacked purposefully to steal Dem votes from Beto.

Why aren't Texas Dems making more of an issue of this? There is plenty of time to correct this problem if cheating and stealing votes is not the objective by whomever has jurisdiction over the voting in Texas.

What is happening in Texas is plainly criminal in my mind.

I don't think there is any way to 'fix' the machines before the election, because I believe the problem is due to an inherent design flaw.

I design software, and I do a lot of hardware and software troubleshooting, and from what I've heard described, and looking at information about the interface for these particular voting machines, I believe that the extra vote for Ted Cruz is caused by extra movement of the selection wheel being detected and registed by the machine's controls. Ted Cruz get's selected because his name is the first item after the straight ticket selection.

A continuation of seizure of power with half the nation accepting and smug, many others confused and not knowing what to think, and only some angry and eager to fight.

We'll see. We need a legal mechanism to redo elections.

I can't think of any other way they can fix the ballots that unintentionally selected Ted Cruz.
