I'm going to the in-laws of my sister. Her nephew is 18 and wore his MAGA hat at the table last year. Not to be funny or ironic. Because he's a true believer. He even enlisted in the Army because of Trump.
He'll be with us, home on leave. In a Jewish house.

(3,191 posts)I always respect service to country, but being with family members who grate on my every last nerve....NO. My teenage daughter and I usually run a 10 miler on Thanksgiving, this year we will do 15. Saying prayers for all lives devastated by Trump.

In someones home
At mealtimes, at the table
While being introduced, indoors or out (unless its frigid!)
In a house of worship, unless a hat or head covering is required
Indoors at work, especially in an office (unless required for the job)
In public buildings such as a school, library, courthouse, or town hall
In restaurants and coffee shops
At a movie or any indoor performance
When the national anthem is played
When the flag of the United States passes by, as in a parade

(23,362 posts)If he wears the MAGA hat, ask him how the Army feels about hats at mess.
But, just in case, have a pink "pussy hat" ready.
Just kidding. Don't make waves at Thanksgiving at the in-laws'.
