WASHINGTON Kanye West has designed T-shirts encouraging black people to exit or Blexit the Democratic Party.
Wests designs debuted Saturday at Turning Point USAs Young Black Leadership Summit, a meeting of young black conservatives in Washington. West didnt attend the conference, but was there in spirit, according to TPUSAs Communications Director Candace Owens.
Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West, said Owens, 29.
She gushed that West has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have.

(24,122 posts)A loss of even a few percentage points due to Blexit could cost us elections. Why not start a Rexit movement?!

(15,388 posts)I'm not wanting to turn this into a, "Hey, you're Black so you must know what every other Black person thinks," but I'm very interested in hearing your opinions. I'm White and currently in a FB argument with a Black acquaintance (I doubt we're friends at this point). He believes that because of people like Kanye and the Kavanaugh situation, Blacks WILL be, "Blexiting," and what's more they'll be welcomed with open arms by conservatives. While we both agree that the Democratic party has taken Blacks for granted big time, I contend that it's silly to think that anyone - because a liberal subgroup (more on that in a bit) might have pissed you off - would switch long-held beliefs 180 degrees and go join the opposition party (unless it's a last straw, I'm so fed up kind of thing, and even then it's more likely a person wouldn't be motivated to vote rather than join the opposition). He says he's a liberal, but he has a raging hatred of feminists (don't know where it comes from) that shades all his arguments, and he says that both Black men and women could tell Ford was lying, and they know what it's like to be accused of something without reason, etc. and that will cause this exodus this election. The "only" things I have are polls that say both men and women are more likely to vote democratic because of Kanvaugh, but he points out that those polls cover multiple ethnicities, and if one was just done one Black people it would show this.
On edit: And someone put up some graphs related to my post, but still I'd like to hear opinions.
