Putin's original plan was for the Rump to step aside at some point and let Pence take over. That is why Manafort's plane diverted to pick up Pence and shuffle him off to meet the Rump. That plan fell through, most likely due to the Rump's own arrogance. Manafort is singing like a canary to Mueller, and now Mueller has all the little details.

Reason: I’m not even sure the traitors in the senate will remove drumpf even if it means pence is president.

BUT if mueller goes after drumpf and pence at the same time.... there is a ZERO percent chance the senate will convict if it means Pelosi becomes president.

If drumpf is removed pence will remain president until 2020 but will pretty much be a lame duck.
