Sooo, regarding Trump and his view on anchor babies and the 14th amendment:

Anyone remember the story about Russian pregnant women coming to stay at Trump hotels so their babies would be born American? What does he say on that I wonder...

Either his base are against brown anchor babies specifically and will suffer no cognitive dissonance about being just fine with Russian anchor babies (insert here your joke about requiring a brain to suffer cognitive dissonance), or something could be made of this. I think it's probably 50-50... some of his base wouldn't like the Russian anchor babies, either.

Admittedly there is no evidence that he personally knew about this, according to this article, but he has a lot of history with Russians; it doesn't seem unlikely. Besides, he hasn't objected to it, either, regardless of his possible involvement. All his anti-immigrant statements are about brown people.

It does seem as though his sad anti-14th-amendment attempt to get his base enthused might get a little air let out of at least one of its tires if this got some attention.
