Sex in the Capital: Wilbur Mills and the Argentinian Firecracker

(For the next several weeks, R American History will share some of the most salacious sex scandals to hit Washington, D.C. Many of these lascivious historical tales include the bizarre, the unimaginable and the indecent, but none lack intrigue.)

Two months after President Richard Nixon resigned due to the Watergate Scandal, Wilbur Mills, a married Democratic congressman from Arkansas, was caught physically fighting in a car with an Argentinian exotic dancer named Annabel Basttistella, or Fanne Fox, “the Argentinian Firecracker.”

On October 9, 1974, Mills–once dubbed “the most powerful man in Washington” because of his chairmanship of the powerful Ways and Means Committee–was pulled over by the Park Police near the Tidal Basin. The limo Mills rode in had been swerving. According to police reports, the congressman was highly intoxicated and bleeding from the face. Battistella fled the car and jumped into the Tidal Basin in front of the Jefferson Memorial. She was pulled out and taken to Saint Elizabeth’s, the psychiatric hospital in Washington D.C, for evaluation.

Hadn't thought about that in a long time.

So, as someone who is not a 'connoisseur' of pornography, I can only use my logical imagination to come up with a definition of a 'cream pie'.

Just that it is part of the story makes it suspect for the ick factor.

A cream pie is when the Male performer ejaculates inside the female performer either vaginally or anally and she then squeezes out the semen into another females mouth or a glass and then drinks it. It appears that the legislator has a particular thing for that act. Hope I wasn't to graphic.

And,

New Hampshire has a population of 1.3 million and a house chamber with 400 representatives-almost as many as DC.
Now picture the kinds of behavior you would have in DC if your pool of possible candidates was 300 times smaller...

and is so emotionally invested in the project that he goes and beats the director (?) up because it was a crappy product? While he is in contention to be Speaker of the House?

Mind boggling.
