I can't. I just can't. Intentionally obtuse Repukes are the worst

Been in so many discussions lately where they reel off it was the GOP that passed Civil Rights. That southern Dems voted against it

They ignore the decades-long turn of the southern whites into today’s GOP

Lincoln fought AGAINST the Confederacy yet the republicans of today embrace Confederate ideals!

Stubborn, willful ignorance is just mind-numbingly frustrating!!

Willfully ignorant people will always be with us. There seems to be more of them, only because they feel they have been liberated from polite and civil speech, which they call "politically correct." But I think there's always been about the same number of them. Afterall we ARE in samsara, and this is the age of KaliYuga, a degenerate age. We live in degenerate times.

Don't waste your time trying to get them to see the light.

In fact, that's why they left the party. LBJ knew it, and knew he would lose the South "for a generation." Turns out he was mighty optimistic about that.

I think they are not (only) obtuse, they are shallow. Labels uber alles...as evidenced by their claims to be the Party of Lincoln.
