I wish all elections had this rule, including primaries. If the 2016 primaries had had this rule, Trump would not have been nominated, most likely. If the 2016 general had had this rule for President, Trump would have had to stand for a runoff against Hillary in some of those close states. Many of the Stein voters would have voted for Hillary in the runoff.
