I mean it. Pure hate. I cannot do anything about it cause I don't have a vote. The only thing I can do at the moment is boycott America. Which means for my Autumn break I cannot head to our place in the sunshine state, I have to head to Bermuda instead. Not a bad plan, but our second home should not be out of bounds cause MAGA. I cannot bring myself to give a penny of my hard earned money to the Trump dynasty.
Do me and the rest of the world a favour...
Just sayin'

(3,344 posts)Hopefully we will flush this guy down the drain and my country will start to return to normal.
It won't be an overnight change, though. Trump is a symptom of the much larger ugliness of the GOP and the GOP voter.

(7,660 posts)"Despise" is a stronger word than "hate". When you say that you despise someone, it implies that you "hate" that person, but it also carries with it the sense that you have contempt for him/her. In other words, when you hate someone, you dislike the individual intensely, but when you "despise" him, you not only dislike him, but you also look down on him. So, when you despise someone, you consider him being beneath you; you may think that the individual is worthless. The word "hate" does not carry with it this negative connotation. You can hate someone who is superior to you.

He is the country's psuedo/fake prez. He did NOT win the popular vote (in fact Dems won 6 out of the past 7 popular votes). Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Obama, Obama, Hillary....Bush 2004 was the exception of a Dem popular vote streak. The GOP and Electoral College fuck up what the majority of the country chooses time and time again.

(5,106 posts)and reached maximum outrage in 2016, when the Democratic candidate, once again, won the popular vote but lost the presidency ( winning by nearly SIX times more votes in 2016 than in 2000)? Right! Believe me, had the Republicans been on the other end in 2000, they were prepared to raise major hell, and 2016 would have never happened to them. It seems to be falling to individual states to cast their electoral votes for the national popular vote winner . Nationally, we seem to be hapless in this regard.

(9,525 posts)challenged in both the house and the senate when they certified the electoral votes? Lots of us watched that on C-Span. Ken Blackwell was the OH SOS and chair of the BUsh reelection campaign. A whole bunch of states had installed paperless voting machines between2000 and 2004.

(51,627 posts)Maybe I blocked it out of my memory on purpose. I wish I could do that to a lot of them naturally. After 2004 I left my job for a year and went abroad I was so depressed.

(1,851 posts)I really tried to think of a single quality of his that I could admire. Anything. Got nada. Nothing but a selfish lying waste of oxygen.
Even after he's dead he won't provide food for the worms. A totally negative impact upon the world.

(5,813 posts)the depth of my hatred about this soulless, classless, clueless, spineless waste of skin, fat and bones.
Im not especially proud of this but it is the truth, something tRump apparently is incapable of speaking. I dont like feeling such loathing toward another person. I know he is mentally unfit for the job. He likely suffers from a diagnosable mental disorder. But after seeing him as a candidate and as president, I just cannot help myself. He brought it on himself. I make no apologies for feeling such intense hatred for him. But Im not the only one. So there is that. That club has many charter members. 😂😂😂
