6. Just saying, a lot of people stayed home in 2016 because everyone assumed Hillary would win.

Why would we want to repeat that same mistake?

It is better to say that if we can continue this momentum, we will win. Also, don't forget that Nancy Pelosi may only be referring to the House. Yes, we will win back the house, but momentum will help us win more than 35 seats, instead of 25 seats. You see, from her reference point, she is correct. We will win the House. But she isn't painting the whole picture. In order to get things done, even in the House, we need large wins.

And, we could win the Senate IF we keep up the momentum.

nobody has said we have won but I would prefer her saying this as to the discouragement you & M. Moore are offering. People also stay home if they think we're losing and it becomes, what's the point.

As B.Blogger just pointed out:

"Yes, we will win back the house, but momentum will help us win more than 35 seats, instead of 25 seats. You see, from her reference point, she is correct. We will win the House. But she isn't painting the whole picture. In order to get things done, even in the House, we need large wins.

AND there is still the high likely hood that Repugs will cheat to win, (where they can get away with it).

I will NEVER trust the R's again. Until this election is over, and all polls are closed, it's all hands on deck! No assumptions and no counting chickens before they've hatched.

A little change from "Thanks, Me."

I'm still working on getting out the vote in my region. And I'm feeling pretty confident. And I'm communicating with family and friends across the country -- and feeling even more confident.

Ps. been trying to think of a Beatle's song that would cover this aside from the obvious.

Though considering the voter suppression against African Americans in particular, Blackbird, might be a good choice.

“Blackbird singing in the dead of night / Take these broken wings and learn to fly / All your life / You were only waiting for this moment to arise.”

“Over the years, different stories have been told about the song’s origin and meaning. In some accounts, Paul McCartney wrote it in 1957. The blackbird was meant to represent a specific black girl (girls were “birds” in groovy 1960s England), one of the nine students courageously desegregating Little Rock Central High School. In other accounts, he wrote it a decade later, after reading about black liberation protests in the U.S.”
