To Leigh H., in Scottsdale, Arizona, if you post here.

I received a personal note from you in the mail this morning reminding me to vote for your family and mine against the destructive Trump agenda. Not to worry. We will both be st the polls on Tuesday to vote against Rod Blum and for Abby Finkenauer, an extraordinary candidate. Fred Hubble is our guy for governor. Straight Democratic Party ticket. thanks for the time you took and bless you and your girls. If you are here PM me.

I had heard of the card writing and thought it meant addressing cards. I didn't realize how involved it was. The care taken warms the heart.

24 years ago..Symington convicted..Napolitano came in - she was the wall - thwarting AZ legislature...I hated to see her go..looking back on Hull- alt-fuel fiasco - not to mention Brewer -arpaio..people still voting for this incumbent, I won't mention his name..is ignorance...

My gut - AZ turning purple...migration from Calif..perhaps....

seen any polling...I did read article Stanton v Ferrara regarding Healthcare....

Stanton is very popular..and so upbeat.....and his message regarding healthcare should resonate....

We received a hand written card today encouraging us to vote for the Democrat in our state senate district (Sean McCann in western Michigan).
We are totally voting for Sean, no question but we're so impressed by the card. They're so much better than another glossy flier.
Anyway, Thanks to Donald D in Evanston, IL

12. Thanks to another DUer's post about postcards early last month, I sought out a group event locally

and took a friend along... there were about 60 of us who joined together and wrote out well over 1000 postcards, drinking 2-for-1 local beers. We were each given a list of Dem/likely Dem folks in a particular district who often skipped midterm voting.

It was organized by a couple who had heard about the concept and ordered boxes of cute cheap postcards online, bought stamps, colored markers, etc and charged each of us $7 to cover expenses. The group enthusiasm was great and with luck, we motivated some folks enough to get out there and vote.
