He just likes to see his enemies eliminated.

They hate each other. If any GOP candidate loses though it will not be his fault, even thought this is basically an election where he IS the GOP vote. His name might as well be on the ballot.

I agree that there is likely some latent dislike from all the things Cruz said in 2016, but .... what will make him even angrier is if Cruz loses - not only has he likely lost the Senate, but he will have a new star - actually against him - in Beto. Not to mention Beto likely reminds him of Obama, a charming, gracious, nice guy.

I hope everyone he showed up to "support" loses. I say "support" in quotation marks because none of those rallies were about the candidate, they were all about Donnie.
