(19,858 posts)RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher requested an emergency hearing late Friday afternoon.
According to documents, the hearing will be Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.
Bucher requested "declaratory and injunctive relief," concerning the canvassing of over-voted and under-voted absentee ballots during the election and preparation of the duplicated damaged ballots.
Bucher, along with the Supervisor of Elections Canvassing Board, were still looking over the provisional ballots, separating the votes deemed not fit to be counted. Her deadline to submit those unofficial midterm election results to the state is Saturday, Nov. 10 at noon.
The deadline for turning in any duplicate or damaged ballots that were going to be thrown out without going to the canvassing board was Saturday at 10 a.m.
But she filed for reconsideration to get the 10 a.m. deadline extended.

Of course the rethugs want to cut her off at noon on Saturday so the absentee ballots can't be counted - cheaters.
