Keep half an eye on this Atlantic coast folks

https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the Lesser
Antilles is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
Development of this system is not expected during the next couple of
days due to unfavorable environmental conditions. However, some
subtropical or tropical development is possible around the middle
of next week when the system moves near or to the north of the
Greater Antilles.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.

in Virginia Beach but I really do appreciate your heads-up early warnings.

I'm a weather watcher and this time of year I just don't think about checking Mike's spaghetti page.

You are now officially my canary in the coalmine for this crazy Atlantic Ocean stuff!

I checked a while ago and saw this and decided to see what NHC is saying.

I really appreciate having lots of heads up time about possible storms so I can help her prepare or go get her.
