"At last have you no decency."

This was a line from the Army-McCarthy hearings when, in the 1950s, a booze-addled red baiting R Senator from Wisconsin brought this country to its knees in much the same manner as drumpf. The question helped to break the fever and turn the tide against this bully.

I have been holding my breath awaiting this moment here in 2018. Perhaps his no-show in France today will bring it.

And there was Roy Cohn by his side when McCarthy finally went too far. Through McCarthy’s senate campaign he continually made up information and numbers about communists in the govt. So many comparisons to trump.
