Most people who serve in the military do not serve in combat units. They play a support role for those who do. Only a small fraction fights the battles. Those military veterans deserve the honors for their risks and sometimes loss of life.

That President Trump did not show that honor to our WWI war veterans is shameful. His comfort was his only concern, so he remained behind while the other national leaders showed their respects to the dead. Trump has no respect for our war dead. He has no respect for anyone or anything. He is a hollow, shallow, uncaring man.
