(7,398 posts)ago until I read it yesterday. I'm not suggesting a thing about the suicide. No conspiracy theory. Just odd how her place in history has sort of faded away. She was probably the most temporarily influential and forgettable figure in determining the Bush presidencies, which ultimately led to the quagmire we have been in ever since in the Middle East. Article stated she was now married to a wealthy Republican donor in Texas. Just a footnote to history.

In Florida it doesn't help that the Dems kept electing an utterly incompetent elections supervisor in Brenda Snipes (despite years of incompetence she keeps getting elected, and the Republicans are all too happy by that).
