In most places, commenting on a post so that it will have greater visibility in a given forum would be called "bumping" or "bump to the top" (bttt), but here that's considered reminiscent of Free Republic (where they do it all the time) so we say kick instead, as in donkey kick.

You all rock. I am new to this but not to being opionated. N/T I looked up as note text meaning (I think) that the post is referring to what they are commenting on, right? Any assistance is truely appreciated.
