I believe they feel entitlement and greed and anger. That's about it. I feel immensely sorry that Barron has to grow up in that family. Both his parents are narcissistic jerks.

If they are owed what they have, it is simply the way things are meant to be.

People with an overblown sense of entitlement aren't thankful for anything. They believe everything they have, they deserve, and anything they don't have was denied them.

demanding that everybody thank him for being the best president and father EVER. And the best looking, with big strong hands.
