I heard there were funerals.

I don't like funerals, and attend only those I must. So, my TV has been off. I haven't seen either of them. I did see some video on the news, and that was enough.

My TV shuts off when I push the power button. Don't they all?

There were a couple of pages in the paper, too, but I already knew died, so I didn't read them. I didn't care for the man, really. His son, either. I saw that he's buried in Texas. I don't go there.

Somehow, they are mind-numbingly mesmerizing. I happen on one and can’t stop watching. After a while, I realize my life has progressed and I have gained nothing. 😧

Had beers one afternoon with the author, Larry McMurtry.
Turns out we both dated the same girl long ago.

I thought that I was the only who just turned off something that I don't want to watch. Why complain, turn it off and use the DVD to watch movies.

Guess I am not so special afterall. Well, life moves on.

that are easy to change from a funeral to a repeat of a show from the 50's 60's 70's etc and you don't even have to have cable or satellite to get them!

My wife and I have been watching Monty Don's Big Dreams, Small Spaces.

There's no space for George Herbert Walker Bush in our garden. I'm sure people loved him, but not me.

Haven't had one for decades, sometimes I'll stream some news or watch a previously recorded something on the laptop but that's it. I have to protect the few remaining brain cells I still have!
