September 5th night. Part of his speech went something like “if you use illegal drugs and are caught you will be punished. The rules have changed,” or something to that effect. Nixon started the “War on (some) Drugs, but it was St. Ronald of RayGun, then “Poppy” Bush that put it on steroids. Bush’s two favorite words were “user beware.” 😡
