Malcolm Nance is calling for everyone on Twitter to report that particular tweet for violation of Terms of Service, and I recommend the same:
@MalcolmNance
We ALL need to Report this tweet for violation of @Twitter terms of service. He is now causing threats and harm that will end in death or injury. Let him do this by press release.

(9,722 posts)He keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper. Those tweets are part of an official record. They can be used against him.

(6,831 posts)Yesterday, photojournalist Joshua McKerrow wrote touchingly about his colleague, the late Wendi Winters, with whom he worked at the Capital Gazette. Ms. Winters, along with four other reporters, was murdered in June by a trump supporter, who stormed their offices in June, shortly after trump had just tweeted another blast of his "Enemy of the people" BS.
I agree with Nance. Shut down trump's fucking twitter before there is another mass murder of reporters, journalists. This shit has got to stop.

(323 posts)the first time I have ever been one step ahead of Malcolm Nance, and I'm pretty proud of that. Anyways, yes, report this tweet. Too many RWNJs take it as a call to action.

(10,952 posts)harmed someone or some group because of one of Dump's tweets, could there be liability on the part of Twitter for allowing Dump's dangerous rhetoric to perpetuate on their site? Rational people know that there could be a nasty outcome to Dump's behavior.

(11,885 posts)To promote propaganda to use to harm others with would be banned immediately. Twitter is also helping in the promotion of propaganda by allowing him to continue abusing its policies by letting him use it. Thank You Malcolm for pointing this out now. If someone gets hurt twitter will be liable.

(1,990 posts)If twitter just deleted his account based upon the many violations of terms of service. Frankly, he'd probably resign if he had no way to spew propaganda to his followers. Twitter is almost single-handedly enabling him at this point.

(3,259 posts)It is not acceptable and Malcolm Nance is correct because Trump has historically defined specific major outlets as being fake news. This, along with other tweets, is as good as a target list.
Standing alone, the tweet is pretty accurate. Fake news played a big role in giving us this monster.
LiberalLovinLug
(14,173 posts)He is just clever enough to not write in the name of the network he is accusing of being 'fake news'. So on its own it is actually quite correct. Fake news has been an enemy of the people, of democracy. Its just that his definition of 'fake news' is the opposite of all sane people.
