California has almost 40 million people, while the 20 smallest states have a combined population totaling less than that. Yet because of an 18th-century political deal, those 20 states have 40 senators, while California has just two. These sparsely populated, usually conservative states can block legislation supported by a majority of the American people. That’s just plain crazy.

I'm hoping they are hit with RICO charges as a result of one of the ongoing investigations. The republican party is obviously a criminal organization that coordinated the commission of many felonies in order to gain control of the US government, including treason. They need to be prosecuted out of existence. The leaders should be doing life sentences or be executed for treason.

In the mean time Democrats should do their best to enact structural changes that will make sure they never have much power (i.e. abolish the electoral college and add DC and Puerto Rico as states).
