cigarettes from the 1960 and even later. Times have truly changed. And look who's advertising them.

and he got cartons of cigarettes cheap at the commissary. He gave out cartons for Christmas to the garbage men, mailman, and anyone else he thought deserved a "treat." EVERYONE smoked back then it seems. My, how the times have changed (thankfully).

We would order a few cartons from the Chief storekeeper onshore, and once we got underway and we were outside US territorial waters 3 miles offshore, we would get our butts. I would get 5 cartons of my Marlboro's for $5.00.

Of a heart attack.
My dad smoked unfiltered Camels.
My mom Marlboro gold.
He died at 69 from heart issues
Shes dying of COPD.
