My late brother, Zeke Manners, was co-writer of "The Pennsylvania Polka" made famous by the Andrew Sisters. I'm sure he would approve of this parody I wrote to his tune Re: voting rights.

Tricky, imprudent Republicans shun
The Pennsylvania Voters,
Poor blacks and students, are excluded from
The Pennsylvania Voters.
The court there upheld it, Injustice was done.
This unfair I.D. mania
Lets the GOP restrain the
Votes for Obama in Pennsylvania.
They're competing
In an uncouth way to win the poll
They are cheating
Stealing the election is their goal
By deleting, Democratic punches in the hole
Next to the name Barack
They'll even stop the clock
Before it's eight
For voting it's too late
So, no use in waiting, the polling is through
for Democratic Voters
The same in Ohio and Florida Too
For democratic Voters
Don't Let them defeat us
And don't listen to
Lies Ryan tells his mama!
End this politicians Drama
Get out and Vote, Re-elect Obama!!
