Trump should not be given the privileges of a President if he committed crimes in becoming the President. That will the key point debated if this issue goes to SCOTUS.

That's not written in the Constitution, it's a fundamental idea behind republics. Only kings, emperors and dictators have ever been above the law, and we don't have any of those.
