it would be a miracle if senate republicans cooperate enough to remove both of them, but i suppose it's conceivable.

but it's complete and utter fantasy to think they'd do it in a way that hands the presidency over to a democrat.

zero chance of that happening.

zero.

Unless you know of some legal way that you can convince enough Republican Senators to vote to remove both the President and Vice President at the exact same time and just willingly hand over the White House in the process, it will never happen. They’ll call it a coup and we’ll never get rid of Trump.

Listen I’m all about moving to impeach Trump once the Mueller report drops. That goes without saying. I’m also not looking forward to having to deal with a President Pence or whatever VP succeeds him if he is removed or resigns or strokes out.

But that’s the practicalities of the situation here. The idea of a Trump-Pence two-fer is a fairy tale.

Never. Republicans won’t vote to cede the White House.

And there wouldn’t be simultaneous impeachment trials.

It’s a nice fantasy but that’s all it is.

If the evidence was overwhelming, they would demand that in order for them to convict and remove both, the trials must be separate and they must allow them to pick a new VP.

First you'd need a compelling reason to Impeach and Convict Pence.

Second you'd need a mechanism to vote to Convict both at the same time.

Third you'd need to convince Republicans to go along with it.

Fourth you'd need to get the House to agree to get rid of Pelosi after she resigns

Fifth.....

Pence, on the other hand, is a conniving, evil theocrat. In addition to the Pledge of Allegiance in schools he’ll have students reading bible verse. No thanks to having a President “Pence the Pious.”

and public opinion then by all means follow this path. They will NEVER cast votes to remove which result in their party losing the White House.
