(Note the word "possible" in the title. This is not a statement of fact; rather it is speculation.)
She can blow up a bunch of shit with her testimony and revelations.
That can further destabilize our country and by extension the rest of the world.
That helps Russia.
I have zero evidence for or against this theory, but it sure seems possible.

(171,070 posts)that a spy swap might be in the offing. I don't know why she'd have to plead guilty first, but she can flee with her secrets if a swap goes down. And seeing how she fed trump questions at a presser involving Russian sanctions, it might be in his best interests to get rid of her.
