Even today many don't think that regular folks should worry about the stock market, but if it fails, as it was demonstrated in 2008, we could have ended with anoterh great depression.

And, before the first vote on TARP, Boehner warned Paulson that 1/3 of the Republicans in congress are "knuckles dragging."

Many may still don't like TARP, that the banks did pay back, with interest. Taxpayers made money.
