Is Butina, the Russian spy, connected to the Russia investigation?

Should she be?

A guest, on one of the cable news shows, questioned who coached Butina to ask Trump a question at a July 2015 news conference, after Trump had announced as a candidate?

The guest also wondered whether Trump knew the question was going to be asked before-hand ??
